Tinkles Games is a mobile game development studio creating hybrid casual and midcore games for iOS and Android.

Over the past few years, their projects have garnered over 150 million downloads worldwide. Their hits include: Hit Master 3D, Wasteland Life: Survival Idle, Craft Valley, and others.

The team consists of 17 people, with all core roles covered and no chaos. They have established transparent processes, strong specialists, and an atmosphere where you can work with ambition but without burnout.

The studio is currently looking for a Unity Team Lead—an experienced engineer with systemic thinking who will help elevate the architecture and development culture to a new level.

Responsibilities

  • Working on a growing live-ops project: maintaining, improving, and implementing new features.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining the architecture of the game logic and systems.
  • Creating internal tools and toolsets to simplify and accelerate development.
  • Developing solutions for game designers and artists to enhance their workflows.
  • Integrating analytics, logging, third-party SDKs, and tools.
  • Conducting code reviews and processing pull requests from the team.
  • Setting and monitoring tasks for optimization, refactoring, and performance.
  • Maintaining and keeping technical documentation up-to-date.
  • Leading a small team of Unity developers (2–4 people): assisting, mentoring, and structuring processes.
  • Working closely with the Project Manager, receiving requirements from design, art, and game design.
  • Supporting the technical aspects of live events—from prototype to release.
  • Participating in making product and architectural decisions that influence the project's development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial development experience with Unity.
  • In-depth knowledge of C# and proficiency in Unity.
  • Experience in architectural design, understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Confident command of Unity UI, 3D, shaders, animations, and particle systems.
  • Understanding of vector mathematics in the context of 3D games.
  • Experience in optimization and profiling of mobile 3D projects.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience working with version control systems (Git and similar).
  • Experience developing mobile games for iOS and Android.
  • English proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation and articles.
