About the role:

We are looking for a Localization Manager with 1+ year of experience to manage localization projects of the entire SayGames' portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage localization projects;
  • Communicate with stakeholders and prepare texts for localization to the languages supported in our games;
  • Translate in-game text elements from English into Russian and vice versa;
  • Work with external localization vendors to obtain high-quality translations of the in-game text elements;
  • Monitor the quality of the translation, proofread texts (mostly English and Russian, knowledge of other languages will be a plus) before passing them over to the team of developers;
  • Keep localized versions consistent with design and user experience;
  • Manage style guides and other resources necessary for effective work;
  • Monitor project deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of work experience as a Localization Manager or in a similar role;
• Advanced English and Russian;
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines;
• Experience in collaborating with translators, proofreaders or external localization vendors;
• Ability to clearly formulate detailed instructions;
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in localized content;
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve localization issues.

Nice-to-haves:
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is a big plus. Japanese, Korean or Chinese are a priority;
• Gamedev experience;
• Experience with CAT tools and Glossaries.
