To such a top place we are looking for a Localization Manager to develop and make our projects better.
Responsibilities
- Manage localization projects
- Communicate with stakeholders and prepare texts for localization to the languages supported in our games
- Manage localization projects
- Translate in-game text elements from English into Russian and vice versa
- Work with external localization vendors to obtain high-quality translations of the in-game text elements
- Monitor the quality of the translation, proofread texts (mostly English and Russian, knowledge of other languages will be a plus) before passing them over to the team of developers
- Keep localized versions consistent with design and user experience
- Manage style guides and other resources necessary for effective work
- Monitor project deadlines
Requirements
- At least 1 year of work experience as a Localization Manager or in a similar role
- Advanced English and Russian
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in collaborating with translators, proofreaders or external localization vendors
- Ability to clearly formulate detailed instructions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in localized content
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve localization issues
Nice-to-haves: - Knowledge of other foreign languages is a big plus. Japanese, Korean or Chinese are a priority.
- Gamedev experience
- Experience with CAT tools and Glossaries
