H8games is a small but experienced team of 13 people who have been making games since 2016. The guys have created Helix Jump, Handy Craft, Wacky Run, and the total number of downloads has crossed 600 million. There are 2 titles in release right now, but the focus will primarily be on the top idle arcade - Little Farm Story: Idlle Tycoon (IOS, Android).

We are looking for a Game Designer to expand the team. The guys believe that to create something cool you don't need a big team, so they are actively involved and balance between different areas. This position is about the balance part of updates, maintaining features, proposing A/B tests, GDD. Also, the team doesn't mind getting involved in producing as well, if you wish.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the design, development and maintenance of features.
  • Developing, updating and maintaining game documentation, compiling guides and instructions.
  • Work with game analytics (analysis of player behavior, analysis and monitoring of metrics, compilation and set-up of A/B tests, hypothesis launch proposal, etc.).
  • Developing and maintaining game balance and economics

Requirements

  • Commercial work experience on Hypercasual, Idle Arcade, Midcore projects from 2 years.
  • Excellent knowledge of Spreadsheets and principles of working with balance tables.
  • Developing, updating and maintaining game documentation, writing guides and instructions.
  • Experience customizing balance and economics of games.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Google Sheet (other tools will be a plus).
  • Mathematical and analytical mindset (good knowledge of math: functions, graphs, building mathematical models).
  • Rich gaming experience and love for mobile games, be aware of the state of the mobile industry, game industry trends.
