Senior Game Designer – KADKA Studio

KADKA is one of the studios whose cool games SayGames publishes over 5 years.

We are a dynamic Ukrainian game studio. Since 2018, we’ve been creating games that don’t just entertain — they truly engage and stick in players’ minds.

Today, our team has grown to over 25 people, and we’re continuing to expand while keeping the spirit of a passionate, close-knit crew that values the individuality of every member.

About project

We are developing Thread Jam (Google Play, App Store) a casual 3D puzzle game where players untangle intricate knots and solve challenging levels.

The game is already showing excellent metrics, and we are now looking for an experienced Senior Game Designer who can take it to the next level — managing everything from new features to in-game events, monetization, and retention.

• Come up with and describe new gameplay mechanics, and write clear and structured game design documents.
• Own features from concept to release.
• Design events, features, and activities to increase player engagement and retention.
• Work on monetization: improve existing systems and explore new approaches.
• Analyze player behavior, collaborate with analysts and level designers to launch A/B tests and interpret results.
• Keep up with the market, find inspiration in new ideas and features from other games.

• 3+ years of experience in mobile game design.
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle game development — from concept to launch.
• Understanding of game economy balancing and LiveOps systems.
• Strong grasp of game metrics and monetization mechanics.
• Experience running and analyzing A/B tests.
